📜 Terms and Conditions – Melody Champs

Please read the following Terms and Conditions carefully before participating in Melody Champs. By registering for the competition, you agree to abide by these rules.

 

1. Eligibility

• Participants must be aged 5 to 15 years as of the competition start date.

• Only instrumental performances are accepted. Vocal entries will not be considered.

• The competition is open to Indian residents only.

 

2. Registration

• Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian of the participant.

• All details provided in the registration form must be accurate and true.

• False information or impersonation will result in immediate disqualification.

 

3. Live Auditions

• Auditions will be held online via live video.

• The exact date and time of the audition will be shared after successful registration.

• Participants must perform live without any pre-recorded audio/video.

• The child must be ready and available at the scheduled time. Missed auditions will not be rescheduled unless due to technical issues verified by the team.

 

4. Performance Rules

• Only one instrument is allowed per performance in each round.

• The performance duration must be within the time limit of 2 to 3 minutes.

• No inappropriate, offensive, or non-musical content will be permitted.

• Judges’ decisions regarding selection and scoring are final and non-negotiable.

 

5. Technical Setup

Participants must ensure the following before joining the audition:

• A stable internet connection

• A device with camera and mic (mobile, tablet, or computer)

• Clear lighting and minimal background noise

• Instrument ready and in working condition

6. Parental Consent & Supervision

• A parent/guardian must be present during the audition.

• By registering, parents give consent to record or stream the child’s performance for judging or promotional purposes.

 

7. Use of Content

• By participating, you grant Melody Champs and its organizers the right to use participant videos, images, and names for:

  • Promotion on website and social media

  • Results and announcements

  • Showcasing talent to the public

• No additional permission will be sought before publication.

 

8. Code of Conduct

• All participants and guardians must behave respectfully during auditions and communication.

• Any kind of abusive behavior, cheating, or manipulation will lead to disqualification.

 

9. Changes to the Program

• The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the competition schedule, format, or terms without prior notice, if necessary.
